The Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur group, which has continually been striving to improve its environmental policy for more than 20 years, has taken an essential new step towards achieving its goal of full net zero emissions, without any offset, by 2030. The award of the new Airport Carbon Accreditation level 4+ certifies the reduction of the absolute value of the Group’s emissions, while the Golfe de Saint-Tropez airport has already become the first airport in France in a position to claim net zero, without any offsetting.
Tuesday 14 September 2021 will go down in history as the day when, for the first time, a Head of State - HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco - flew on a 100% electric plane. This stage in the aviation industry’s efforts to fly without emitting CO2 is in line with the Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur Group’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030.

Across dozens of criteria, it covers all of the health recommendations established by the public authorities and represents the best practices in the sector.
Updated 12/07/2021 - As of 21 July, and for a temporary period that will not extend beyond 7 September, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport will partially reopen Terminal 1. This measure is intended to support enhanced health checks for certain international flights, while maintaining the quality of service provided to passengers.
