As the gateway to the region, Nice Côte d'Azur Airport plays a key role in promoting the region's development and international profile. It is a true hub, connecting residents, businesses and local institutions to major French and international cities.
Thanks to a diverse network of routes to more than 130 destinations, we offer travellers rapid access to major European capitals, major intercontinental airports and major tourist destinations. This connectivity fosters economic, academic and cultural exchanges, while strengthening our region's openness to the world.
Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and Cannes Mandelieu Airport are a driver of shared growth (with an impact of €2.2 billion on the GDP of the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region), serving travelers, businesses, and the entire territory.
The ecosystem of Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and Cannes-Mandelieu Airport is one of the region’s largest local employers (30,750 full-time equivalent jobs in the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region). This role as a major economic player makes a strong contribution to employment, training, and the social stability of our region.
Recognising that we have a responsibility towards society, we support numerous local initiatives and associations working in areas such as education, culture, the environment and solidarity.
Two concrete examples include our Foundation, created in 2009, which has already supported more than 60 projects creating an impact on the Alpes-Maritimes and Var regions, and our partnership with Restos du Cœur to promote and give a second life to items that are not permitted in the cabin. These partnerships reflect our desire to create lasting links with the community and to participate actively in local life.
