Managing water resources 

In a context where droughts are becoming increasingly frequent and intense, managing our water use responsible is a top priority to build resilience into our operations while protecting this essential resource. 

Recycling ARFF test water

We have built a specific area for testing ARFF fire engines so that we can recycle the water used, filter it, store it and then use it to refill the engines’ tanks.  

Plan to reduce drinking water waste

Between 2021 and 2024, we halved our average drinking water consumption per passenger at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. 

Restricting green space watering

Our three airports are fully committed to restricting the water used for green spaces as much as possible, particularly during the summer months.  

Energy efficiency

 We have been ISO 50001 certified since 2017, by basing our energy management approach on achieving continuous improvement. We analyse our energy uses and consumption in detail to identify significant uses, assess potential areas for improvement and anticipate future needs.  

We have set ourselves an ambitious goal: to reduce our buildings’ energy consumption by 15% by 2030 compared to 2019.  

We pay particular attention to our most intensive energy uses, especially our heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
