Since 1 April, the pop-up stores in the Nice Côte d’Azur terminals have been renewed, with 5 new food chains moving in. On the menu: products from Monaco, Japanese flavours and fine chocolates to enjoy on-site or during your flight.

The pop-up stores at France’s second largest airport platform are entering their seventh season, having already brought travellers around fifty chains, which have benefited from exposure to the millions of visitors passing through the terminals.

Following a tender process, five chains have been selected for the next twelve months, to fulfil the airport’s promise to give travellers the most remarkable commercial experience of any European airport. The newly renovated terminals offer the chains prime locations to promote their culinary expertise. They are distributed between the public areas and the passenger-only zones in the boarding area.

The chain offers healthy, tasty “home cooking”, with plenty on offer for vegetarians or gluten-intolerant customers, all amidst Japanese décor with manga tones on the walls and a pretty cherry blossom tree on the terrace.

The mouthwatering menu also features a lobster salad, a Label Rouge Scottish salmon tartare, and for something sweet to finish, delicious home-made desserts.

Marcolini, founded by the winner of the 1995 World Pastry Cup and the 2000 European Pastry Cup, will delight chocoholics with assortments you’ll struggle to keep in your suitcase as a gift, without giving in to temptation and eating them right away.

“This new selection of pop-up stores embodies our openness to the world, with flavours coming from Japan, Belgium, the northern seas and Italy. It serves our ambition to give passengers the most remarkable commercial offer in a European airport, as well as our promise to become a prime stopover for self-connecting passengers, with Nice Connect”, states Filip Soete, Director of the Commercial BU of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur.
