Launch of the consultation process of the North Zone of Grand Arénas at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

Published on 22-01-16

As part of its property development project in the North Zone of the Grand Arénas, forming a triangle called "Ilot 4.3", with an area covering 25,300 m², the Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur Group, in view of the upcoming MIPIM to be held in Cannes from 15 to 18 March, announces the launch of the consultation process for the implementation of this operation.

This major property development project in the Nice area will include, in addition to an apartment building (3000 m²), an office building (about 12,000 m²) with shops at the foot of the building (800 m²) as well as a combination of two hotels (4- and 3-star hotels covering a total surface area of 9500 m² with a capacity of 200-250 rooms).

Located on the Promenade des Anglais, opposite Terminal 1 soon to be connected by tram, this hotel complex is particularly attractive because of its exceptional location. Indeed, its well-known address has caught the attention of big names in the international prestige hotel industry, which have already approached the group pending the formal consultation by tender. Its strategic location, due to its easement and direct connection to the airport, will ensure synergies on certain high value-added services such as the business centre or access to the future Exhibition Centre.

The opening of this complex, also comprising a restaurant, bar, meeting rooms, fitness room, pool/spa and parking spaces in the basement, is scheduled for early 2020 at the latest.
